Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance in identifying a man who was seen in the area moments before a shooting in the City of Vaughan three weeks ago. 

On Sunday, January 22, 2012, at approximately 10:20 p.m., police were called to the West End Cafe located at 8099 Weston Road in the City of Vaughan for reports of a man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Shortly after, a 38-year-old Toronto man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 
 
The investigation into this incident continues and police are now releasing photographs of a man who was seen in the cafe around the time of the shooting. Police believe he may have information that will assist in the investigation. 

Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes this man or who has information regarding this incident to come forward.
