Investigators with the York Regional Police #1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have arrested two suspects following a robbery in the Town of Newmarket.
On Thursday, February 9, 2012, at approximately 6:40 p.m., a male suspect entered the Total Health Pharmacy located at 679 Davis Drive. The suspect approached the victim, a pharmacy employee, and made a demand for narcotics. The victim complied and the suspect fled with a quantity of prescription medication.
On Thursday, February 16, 2012, at approximately 1:30 p.m., police executed a search warrant at a residence on Sunnypoint Drive in Newmarket and arrested two suspects without incident. Officers also seized prescription medication.

Mr. MOBBS has been held in custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket. Mr. HAYNES has been release from custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket on Thursday, March 15, 2012.
